Alphonso Johnson

Acclaimed Bassist and Chapman Stick artist Alphonso Johnson

Alfonso Johnson has taught at the Mesar Hause Institute of Music, the Bass School of Music, the Musicians Institute, and the California Institute of the Arts. He has also become the director of the bass department at The Los Angeles Music Academy.

Alphonso has also contributed a chapter in “The Guitar Teacher’s Handbook” published by Oxford University Press.
