This course is designed for the early rock guitarist with a few weeks or months of practice under his/her belt. The Major and Minor Scales are introduced and explained. Left hand techniques like vibrato, hammer-ons, and pull-offs are demonstrated clearly. Drills for stretching and speed are included. Resident rockmeister Marc Seal also teaches the difficult subject of bar chords in a way that minimizes the pain and struggle and maximizes the students use of practice time. Fun tricks from favorite artists are shared and Marc also begins and introduction to the use of Effects in Rock Guitar. This course is guaranteed to set the beginning guitarist well on the way to mastering rock technique.
